NIGERIA NEWS: Power outrage in pahayi. Whose fault is it?

It has been a business as usual on my visit today to a town in Yewa South, Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria. Although an adage says that if we pound yam in a leaf, some will be satisfy and some will be unsatisfied.
This is the common story about power (Electricity) in Nigeria as a whole. When you see a bright light radiating from the corner of a house in some part of Nigeria, you need to be sure because it might be sourced from a generator. Due to my investigation on getting to pahayi a reliable source said something about the situation, that they had remain in blackout, and I coat “I will tell you the truth, it has been over nine months now that we make use of electricity.” Another person that I was privileged to speak with also said a similar thing. “It is nothing to talk about if you cannot afford a generator in our environment (Pahayi precisely), then you will remain a dreamer in the land of light (electricity). We are seeing others using electricity, even though it is epileptic. The whole community of pahayi keeps on calling for help from the government, PHCN and the community association. We don’t know whom to blame, either the government or we the community.”
The situation has been abandoned for over eight months now. Is this the situation that is encouraging to citizenry, and yet the government keep on lauding their self procurement strategies at the expense of the citizens. The general election is at hand will community like Pahayi; give their full support to the government.
The question that pops up in my mind is that WHO IS ENCOURAGING THE CITIZEN TO PARTICIPATE IN A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WELFARE OF THE CITIZEN? And WHO IS TO BE BLAME WHEN THINGS ARE GOING WRONG IN THE SOCIETY? IS IT GOVERNMENT, SOCIETY OR INDIVIDUAL? Your answer to this question is highly expected, so make use of the comment box below to answer the question. You can also send your comments, questions or answers to prowlingeagle@gmail.com.
