“1 Man, 1 Vote”…..Good People, Great Nation………NIGERIA 2011…The ongoing voter’s registration in Nigeria has not been too smooth without different shortcomings. The citizens are calling on INEC to increase the numbers and efficiency of the Direct Data Capturing (DDC) machines distributed Nationwide. Some citizens even lamented on how they stayed all day before they were registered while some have been parading the registration centre for over two days without getting
any positive response.

INEC has requested for extension of the formally approved 14 days by the National Assembly. Prof. Jega made some clear points and reasons while his request in line with the citizen’s voice should be accepted and justified.
Viewing the issues from different perspectives, I am advising that INEC should yield to the call of the citizens and the citizenry should also exercise patient and cooperate with INEC.
